A region for all who love the water

Nestled between alpine peaks, Mediterranean vegetation, gentle vineyards, and unspoiled nature, fishing in the Passeier Valley becomes a special experience. Clear waters, fresh mountain air, and varied river sections – from lively flowing to calm and gravelly – create ideal conditions for anglers and fly fishers. As South Tyrol’s waters are pure salmonid areas, trout are among the most common catches here. Those who want to deepen their technique and feeling will find professional courses and individual support at the Arnold Gufler Fly Fishing School. And young anglers will also get their money’s worth: In the Sandhof recreation area, children can gain their first experiences – without a fishing license.
